2012 Project Save Our Streets Event Date: Friday, January 27, 2012 Location: Corner of King and Bishop Streets 2nd ANNUAL “PROJECT SAVE OUR STREETS” EVENT RALLIES COMMUNITYWIDE SUPPORT TO REDUCE TRAFFIC FATALITIES IN 2012Farmers Insurance Hawaii employees joined the Honolulu Police Department and the downtown community at the second annual “Project Save Our Streets” event this morning at the corner of King and Bishop Streets in downtown Honolulu. Keaau Elementary Students Rally for Traffic Safety In Front Of School Date: Friday, September 23, 2011 Location: Keaau Elementary on the Big Island KEAAU ELEMENTARY STUDENTS RALLY FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY IN FRONT OF SCHOOL Armed with homemade signs and messages to drivers to slow down for students walking to school, more than 50 students and teachers from Keaau Elementary School held a traffic safety rally in front of the school this morning. The event was part of the Farmers Insurance Hawaii Hot Spots traffic safety program. Hot Spots at Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School! Date: Friday, August 26, 2011 Location: Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School in Kauai Armed with homemade signs reminding drivers to slow down and pay attention while driving, more than 60 students and teachers from Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School held a traffic safety rally in front of the school this morning. The event was part of the Farmers Insurance Hawaii Hot Spots traffic safety program.The students and teachers were joined by Kauai Police Department officers and Farmers Insurance Hawaii employees from Kauai and Honolulu to alert morning commuters to the traffic dangers near the school. National Night Out Event to Promote Traffic Safety Date: Tuesday, August 2, 2011 Location: Target Store & Along Salt Lake Blvd. Mahalo for your support at the National Night Out Event on August 2, 2011 that took place on Salt Lake Blvd! We were invited by HPD to join the annual event designed to generate participation in local anti-crime programs and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
